In Holes and Corners Judy. Transforming. Progressing
I go on with my days just like any other. The things that vex me physically and mentally stay focused, and often out of tune. I thought to myself, why go through this? Some things are extremely corny. This may be one of the corniest.
Dear Wife,
Happy 16th birthday! The big ole’ one six. 1-6. Shit, I sound white. See how corny this is? Actually, this wasn’t how I planned it. I was planning to call you after school with Brendan since he has your number, but he wouldn’t pick up his phone and meet up. I also wanted to send you something by today, but once again, your number changed, and internet isn’t the most reliable place to exchange addresses and all. There are creepers on the web. Of course, you already know that.
It’s really weird to not have you here at Gaymont with us. Well, surely, you’d already know that as well. This is one sucky letter. I apologize for that.
To summarize my points, I’d love to say happy birthday! Ellie-Funt and Esquirellito send their unconditional love. You actually finally reached the age of when you’re legal to… Well. I’m not sure. So remember, we love you and miss you. Have fun.
Have a lovely [birth]day,
Judy
